2011 Was a buzy and good year, but not so much for blogging! Spring Semester I finally took MATH 101! I have been running from math my entire life. I worked really hard, and thank goodness Wade was my tutor! My teacher was so kind! I passed with an A! I can only say, "God is alive, and is on the throne!!! There are people who should do math, and there are people who should not! I know I am a person who should be painting!

2011 Fall Semester, I took PRINTMAKING 101. I absolutely loved it! It is a whole new world of possibilities in creation! I went a little overboard on my final project, but I couldn't stop myself! I found the process fascinating and addicting. I hope to combine these techniques with my painting as I move forward. I really appreciated the freedom we were given to explore and experiment.

The 2011 2nd Annual Visual Arts Exhibition and Awards Ceremony that took place at The Gallery at Springhouse in Smyrna, TN was another wonderful success! We gave away over $2,500. in cash and prizes! Our goal to encourage Visual Artists in Middle Tennessee, by providing a family friendly environment for them to display and sell their work, being seen by thousands of people. Our Gallery does not charge a percentage, Artists receive full amount of sale. The winner of the $1,000. Purchase Prize, sponsored by Journeys, went to a young, High School Student. It was a great encouragement to her! People seemed to enjoy themselves!
