Debbie and I went with Wade and Jake to the beautiful Peabody Hotel in Memphis on the semi-annual TN Road Builders Convention. This is the Hotel famous for the ducks that live at the Hotel and everyday walk from the roof to the fountain in the gorgeous lobby, where they stay for the day and then walk back to the roof! Pretty cute! Debbie and I had a really fun time shopping and made some great bargains! It made me think of when I use to shop with my mom. We always had so much fun together, it was a joy for me to share this time with Debbie. Jake was truly blessed with her!

Boon, Tennessee Visit
The following day, Wade and I drove to meet my brother, Mikel and his wife, Carol, and son Dane, and my sister, Cindy, her son, Mike, and daughter Lorissa, and her friend Carol. We went gem mining. We had the greatest time, and it was wonderful to see my brother and sister again. I am not sure how long it had been since I had seen my brother. It was good to hug him! It was beautiful there, way out in the country! Although it was extremely difficult to leave them, not knowing when we shall meet again. I pray it will not be too long. The moments together were precious.
A Busy Summer!

4th of July Celebration!
Today is our 19th wedding anniversary! God is merciful and so very good to us! We started out the morning with breakfast at a cafe on the square in Sonoma, then joined the entire town and visitors from all around to watch the sweetest home town parade. As someone put it, "Half the town is in the parade, and the other half is watching it! It was a real blast from the past! It was a lot of fun!

Hello from Sonoma, California!
Wade and I flew into SanFrancisco, California. Then drove up to Sonoma, near Napa. Sonoma is a cute little town, with little shops, wonderful food and really friendly people. The people are very casual. We had a great 1st day shopping the square, and dinning at Wade's favorite, the Culinary Institute of America! Awesome! Then a curvy drive thru the mountains to get back to Sonoma. We are having a great time!
