Thursday was a beautiful sunshiny day.  We started construction on our new back patio.  They got it all prepared, then poured the deck today, (Friday).  Braeden loves Bob the builder so he was thrilled to get to climb into the bulldozer!  Later, Jake dropped by with Davy for a swim!  I love when cousins get together.

Braeden and Rikiya are a joy of my life.  I am so thankful that I get to spend time with them, and have the opportunity to watch them grow.  There is nothing more beautiful than a peaceful and happy child.  I pray that they grow into strong and brave children of Christ, knowing his love, protection and his joy.  How I love them.

Last month we took the kids to the movies to see "Earth" by National Geographic.  It was Awesome!  The next movie we took them to was "Up".  Everyone loved it!  I will  buy it when it comes out on DVD!

Father's Day

I don't like Father's Day.  It is too sad.  But the Lord was so sweet to me this morning by helping me find a scripture I had wanted to find.  He just kind of embraced me and showed me His love, so sweetly, letting me know how He cares for me.  I am His daughter and He is my Father.

What a group of wild adventurers!  We survived the white waters of the raging river, friends forever.  Nothing can hold us back now!  No telling what we will do next!  Don't even try to guess, 'cause we don't even know!

There is definitely one thing we all agree on, Our God is GOOD!

Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace you cover us with, even when we do not deserve it!  Like on the way back when Wade was so stoked, he was driving a bit too fast, (ok a big bit too fast), and we got stopped by the police, (again).  I prayed for the Lord to have mercy and grace on us and to let the police man to be nice and not mean.   He was.  We had a nice chat with the whole car load, Suzanne almost had a hot date, and we were on our way with a polite warning and a smile.  Like I said,  Our God is GOOD!  Thank you Lord for a fun, safe day!

Wow! What a Day!

Wade and I, Kelly and Suzanne, went white water rafting on the Ocooe River today with the young adult Strive group from church.  Keven O'Dea was our leader, there were 21 of us, and we had a riot!  Kelly and Keven, and several others had never been rafting before.  The weather was hot and sunny, and the water was refreshing and cool.  The perfect combination.  We all had so much fun!  (except on the first good rapids when I was almost impaled on my hinnie with the handle of someone's paddle handle!!!  Ouch!  Everyone except me wanted to flip the boat, so the guide, Steven, abliged them!  I believe three peoples helmets smashed into my head and face as we were thrown from the boat and plunged into the water!!!  It was sort of like when I flipped and crashed my miada . . . except with a lot of water!  I am still having flashbacks!  Everyone loved it and Keven and Kelly have stories to tell their children and grandchildren!

My second day learning about blogging, I just posted my very first comment on my dear friends site, as they are on the trip of a life time, and we want to stay in communication.  I realize I am blogging to no one, since no one knows I have a blog!  So this is my exercise of FAITH, that someday someone will read my blog and care!  I also chalk it up to a step up on the technology ladder!  God is Good!

Hello Peoples!  OK, so today is my first time blogging.  Yesterday my daughter got me up and going, so now I am on my way with new technology!  Whooo Hooo!!!  I admit I do not completely understand how this all works.  But I guess I will learn as I go!  ONE small step for mankind, ONE GIANT STEP FOR ME AND MY FRIEND KELLY!  Cause she is learning along with me.  These two photos are from last September, of 2008, when we took family to Seattle, Washington.  It was peaceful and beautiful.

Today April helped me start my first blog! We just had a family cookout this weekend. It was a blast! Great food, fun, sun and time spent. And all the kids and parents made it through.
